Hi folks,

I come into possession of a genuine bmw fire extinguisher and fancy fitting it to my Cabrio. Having a look on OEM to see what mounting parts I need is a little confusing. The bracket (3) is not listed but the extinguisher and clamp is. How are the clamps fixed to the seat? My seat is a sport seat if that makes any difference.

I know the little brass ones you mean, so the clamp fits straight on rather than use a bracket?

the extinguisher is clamped (strapped) onto the cradle, which is bolted to the mounting bracket, which then fixes to the seat with two self-tapping screws and speed clips, as Stefan said.

That picture shows the 1.3kg bottle and cradle, what about the 1kg bottle that only uses a clamp? Why doesn't realOEM list the bracket number?
