Firstly im not sure if this is in the correct section, but i didnt really know where to put it.

Basiclly i wad wondering if anyone was familiar with or knew much about leather reconolising? My leather interior is looking a little worse for wear, fading and starting to crack a bit, but not ripped. It could do with some attention. My mates got some nice colour concept leathers in his golf, and he told me about this "reconolising" that the previous owner of his golf had done to the leather interior. From what he told me the impression im getting is that the basiclly restore and recondition the leather and give the colour a boost again some how.

I was wondering if anyone knew much about it or has had it done or any experinces of this sort of thing? Basiclly any info at all! And if so how good the result was and how much i could be looking to get it done?

Also if anyone knows anywhere that does it around london/surrey/kent area?

Cheers

Have a look for gliptone, liquid leather do a full kit so should be able to help you with what you want to do, they also do a kit to change the colour.

I've just bought a leather dye kit from Furniture Clinic. Will post up some before and after pictures.
