Hi there. I'm considering replacing instrument pack in my 320i Auto as they are causing problems and swapping batteries has not sorted them out. Does anyone know if all the packs of this age will work or if I need one specifically from a 320 auto?

Any help would be appreciated.

Apart from the really early stuff, all clusters complete and their SI circuit boards are interchangeable. The only differences are the fuel gauge, which is matched to the size of the tank, and the coding plug, pushed into the lower right front face of the cluster, which is matched to the number of engine cylinders.

Thanks for the info, Brian.

I'll see what I can get.
