Hi folks, I've been trying to decide what wheels to replace my 17" Alpina replica wheels with. Everyone says these ruin the handling. I agree they are rather heavy but to be honest the car feels ok to me, then I've nothing to compare with.
I've had a look at the wiki wheel page and ideally I would like to replace with Genuine Alpinas but prices are outwith my reach I reckon. Standard 15" BBS are an option but a bit bland. I wondering how the BBS RS and RM wheels compare with regards to handling to the standard version.
What sizes can these wheels come in and how much should I budget for a set of each?
BBS RS/RM handling compared to RZ's & BK's + pricing up?

How much are genuine alpina wheels worth now if genuine BBS RSs are a more cost effective option??

A good set of BBS RM's will set you back about 7/800 quid (without tyres) for a 15x8j pair and a 15x9j set. They'd be looooovely!
Or how about a nice set of 15" OZ Turbos?
