Went to oacl srappy to day to have a mouch and see if there is any new E30's in, none, not a bean. Just about to leave, and an E30 on a forklift going to the crusher goes past me. I has a butchers at it, and oh look, its got a Full OBC installed. I sopke to forklift driver nicely, he said he would give me 1 hour before it goes into crusher........

1 hour later, a Full OBC removed. Goes to pay for it, (Expecting Ãƒ”šÃ‚£35-Ãƒ”šÃ‚£40)
"Ermm....Giz a tenner for it mate" !!!!

Good on you mate,good feeling isnt it!

Theres a scrappy near me with about 5 or 6 E30`s in inc 2 tourers and a couple of chrome bumper ones.
Had a couple of bargains there myself recently including a mint parcel shelf rear blind-Ãƒ”šÃ‚£fiver and a mint(at the time)huge tool kit and matching boot lid liner also for a fiver!Oh yeah and i also got a very clean set of fogs a few months ago for my old chromy,you guessed it Ãƒ”šÃ‚£fiver

Up at TMS, They have got only 2 E30's in, a Black 88-87 316/8 and a Red J reg 316i Auto touring, which has a very tidy engine and bay.

The one that was about to be cruashed was their " Track Car", it was badley bashed, i dont think that there was a panel without a dent.

Ive been there once for something, cant remember what now but the place is so jammed with cars.....I didnt bother!

You must all be deprived! There are 4 scrappys in the Chester/Wrexham area that have atleast 1 e30 in. 2 of the yards the guy doesnt mind he's sold an is interior for Ãƒ”šÃ‚£30 and it wasnt even ripped! :O

Furberrs...Scrapyard heaven.

I know that there are not many in the local scrappy, as they all seem to be still going around here !!! In the time it took me to drive from my house to the scrap yard, about 2 miles, i saw 3 E30's that have not been seen aorund here before, taking the total up to around 12 E30's still going strong. and Telford is not that big......

I see 12 a day, and like you said....different ones all the time!
The last time I went to Prees Heath(Scrapyard Heaven) its the best in Britain! Anyway the last time I went, bloody took off on that little tight bridge type thingy! Nearly died!

Yes, it's called Prees Heath Car Auctions. God there's some scrap going through there. I was on my way back from my g/friends place in North Wales, dropped in and bought a B reg 520i with leather - this was about 7-8 years ago mind.
