alpina performance??

has anyone else got a C1 2.3 alpina reason being that i see a lot of people are complaining about poor performance from there 2.0 or 2.3 E30's but mine feels pretty damn quick and i have driven a lot of performance cars to gauge it by but my MPG is not good i am starting to wonder if there is more going on with my motor than meets the eye any theories
