I have been told care should be taken when installing new drop links, the vehicle should ideally be on a drive on ramp with the full weight of the vehicle on the platform this way the drop links can be fitted straight and not twist when the weight of the vehicle hits the ground. (poor explanation) someone else would probrably explain better, that is why some droplinks are ruined in a short space of time, poorly installed!

This.

You can install them with the car jacked up. But the final tightening should be done with the car on its wheels, that way the rubber is not pre-loaded. Or are they Q drive ones? :D

A good opportunity to upgrade to mondeo ones now then.
