Is there any way of telling what type of m20 mine is, B20 etc??

Yeah i bloody hope so simon!! I thought there were production variations that were labelled with a "B" prefix, am I wrong, is every m20 exactly the same?

M20B20 is the 2.0ltr 6cyl.

M20B25 is the 2.5ltr 6cyl.

Look on the exhaust side of the head just above the exhaust manifold, between the sparks for cylinders 1 and 2, it should say 2.5/2.7 in a small circle if its a 2.5.

o i see, i never realised that was how simple it was, when people mentioned b20/b25 I thought it referred to when the engine was made, and therefore which 'edition' it was !! :mad:
