I'd avoid the cheap turbo kits
I'd avoid using so called experts
What's your budget and what are your expectations
There is a lot to consider and do before you turbo an e30. A decent head gasket set, ARP stud kit and some sort of management is a must

The Mahle pistons, I'm assuming they have upped the compression? If so you will want to whip them out and replace them with something preferably lower comp than standard.
It all very much depends on how much power you want?

Going low comp is ist necessarily required. I know of some hi comp turbo engines that do really well. The cam you have may not be suited to a turbo application either
Personally, I'd expect it to be £5000
It may be worthwhile selling your original engine and use that to fund a fresh turbo build. Get your current engine dyno'd, let people view & check it etc, then if you get a buyer take a deposit and pull it out and then crack on with a turbo build

there is no turbo kit you can buy that will do exactly what you want the only kit that will be any good is a kit that you put together your self word of warning dont skrimp on parts it will come bk and bite you in the ass
you can turbo a late standard engine at 8.8-1 @ 1 bar should see you about the 300+ mark on standard pistons i wouldnt push it no more than that or you go balls out and get forged internals thats where the money is as kos said you will need management some kind of standalone there are a few out there megasquirt vems that gunni sells and more expensive ones like omex etc
standard head gasket is fine but uprated studs are a must metric blues arps etc
then its turbo, what power do you want what torque band do you want when do you want it to be on full boost ???
then making exhaust, uprated injectors etc etc etc

Unless you have a good understanding of how it all works and can do the spannering yourself, just go and buy a fast car.
If you are paying other people, 5k may get you a good running reliable turbo converted car , it may also get you a cantankerous bodged up hard shoulder queen. Most turbo converted cars sadly fall into the latter category
