The Air con is Deavia dealer fit scrap and the ECU in the boot is for the switch able auto.

@£700 with a years ticket you cannot go wrong, assuming the engine and box are good and it drives ok. Somebody handy with an aerosol should be able to tidy that arch up.
That A/C is Diavia, which if it blows cold leave it alone, otherwise it belongs in a skip.
Converting one of these to manual is a pain unless you convert it to later motronic as the flywheel and gearbox are unique to early 325s. Leave it auto.

They were the company that made and supplied lots of A/C retrofit kits back in the day when A/C was a novelty in Europe.
Reliability and fit and finish was crap from day one.

It's a bit of a ginger step-child. You want to love it, but you just can't.
That being said, if that's the one you were thinking of buying to steal the engine, then you'll be left over with a lot of unsellable scrap if you do so.

But its generally fairly nice, ive got a grey is check sports interior I could put in it, but then beige carpets or dye , or maybe just leave , or remove the valance posiibly get a standard look
But 325i 2 door are not a common car these days for sale, its solid in the right areas, rear panel, around the drainage runs and plate lights and boot floor etc are all lovely as are other areas , its a shell with potential

Diavia was Delphi iirc. You can still get most bits so it's not all grim. We had a 1996 328i in with a Diavia set up that still worked - R12 ftw!
