Well here I am running round all afternoon delivering parcels, I work for Royal Mail, and what do I see parked on the driveway where I am next delivering? Only the C2 alpina that total BMW did a shoot with a couple of months back!!!! Nice motor up close, originally met the guy about 5 years ago when I was delivering mail, then he was and still is into 2002's, tols me the story about purchasing the Alpina, really nice guy all in all a very knowledgable chap, great that people with such experience dont look down on those with lowly little 320i..........

Righty its black, two door, d reg, it is for sale in the back of total BMW, it is the C2 2.7, cloth interior full recaros, full aplina cow catcher front end, skirts, and rear valance. The car has been fully restored, original engine (number match), and the car is based in Preston.

Bang on very true that, he ended up travelling down to London, he had a 2.7 in the garage ready to fit but he heard an original Alpina was for sale he bought that and then it turned out to be his. Coincidence!!!
Still a very nice motor.

Ive met that man
, won some Sport seats off him at a bargain price on eBay ( think they were in the C2 until he sourced the correct ones )
Had a good nose over his fantastic 2002 and the C2, he was helping a lad drop a 2.7 into a Sport at the time, he's a proper nice fella

was the 2.7 going in a grey / silver m tec?
As for the 2002 he has won awards and awards for his restoration, no real filling, he has them leaded! Proper nice geezer like you say, invited back whenever, might try and get some shots of mine and his C2 side by side. Food for thought.
