GREY, WTF ????

Ok heres one for you......

What color would you say my car is (in sig). just the basic, black, blue, red, green........

Why would the bloke who has just passed my car for an MOT put it down as GREY ???????

I have lost all faith in him as a tester !!!!

He had failed it on front tyre, Handbrake and front number plate.

Dolphin grey is closer to silver, a nice metalic, very nice colour. But i mean a horrid flat grey, there is one that parks next to mine.

My first car was a Silver MKII Golf. The tester (at a franchised dealership no less) put the colour down as white on the certificate

Dumb.

As.

Flumps.

Of course, I laughed.

And then told him to write me a new one from memory (aprt from the colour). Now Silver is actually much more easily mistaken for white than black is (yeah, really) but you'd think that a VW technician of ~10yrs experience would get that right?

I would not call that grey, even if it was, its metalic.

It looks like it has a hint of blue in there somewhere.

I will post up a pic of the grey E30 that parks on the same car park as me.
it is really nasty, it looks like moulded plastic.......

mine was diamond shwarz, then resprayed in dolphin grey ( Love that colour.. but need Mtec on it) and MoT goes black grey black......WTF??
