I've always bought a 4litre bottle and a 1 litre bottle (I'm sure you can get 5ltr bottles but I always end up with 4's). Then you have half a litre in a small bottle spare should it need a top up..

according to the wiki, it say 5/40 synthetic oil is the best for an e30, but pretty sure people have recommended 10/40 semi....

what do poeple on here mainly use on their 325s

People on here recommend 10W40 semi-synth because they're scrooges and it can be bought at the supermarket. The Wiki recommends 5W40 full synthetic because it was entirely sourced from the advice of Opie Oils, and their excellent posts in the Tech Section.
