I've kicked the habit. I've sold or crushed all of the E30 scrap I had and thought I was doing quite well.

There I was pootling along on the way to deliver some grub in my god awful volvo turd bridge dodger when I happened upon a nice shiny 2 door E30 of unknown spec in Calypso red on Alpinas finished with a great big for sale sign stuck in the window.

I daren't look at the price as it would have just been too much whatever it was, but a little spark went on. I need another one.

I'll have to banish that thought for now as I got some work to do, but there's just something about these cars. Just can't imagine driving anything else really. I think I have issues...

I have just this picture....

It doesn't make sense. Buy a Kia, forget these thoughts

I should know, i owned a mint cab. Folders of service history, low owner, leather interior, mint paint with no marks, fully operating electric roof, no rust...

I sold that and bought a very cheap 2dr, with high owners, missing history, real poverty spec turd, paint was in good condition but not perfect, the nearest bit of leather that came with the car was the bmw owners information pack wallet.

Ended up spending over 3k on my 2dr and it still isn't half as good as the convertible i owned.

Mine is a £400 V70. Clearly the extra £200 you spent on yours makes all the difference. The drivers window doesn't work, neither does the central locking or indeed the key fob, and the interiors shagged. I've had murder with the brakes making all kinds of horrible claps, shakes, howls judders and vibrations. I diagnosed horribly worn ABS sensors all round, so I just disconnected the ABS. The dash is now like the blackpool light show and the speedo doesn't work, but at least the brakes are less dangerous. :? Trackings out, Steering wheel is wonky, dents and dings everywhere, burns oil at quite a rate and the latest one I had to laugh at. The tail pipe is now melting the rear bumper.

MOT runs out in a month or two and then I can't wait to take it to the bridge. Problem is I have no cash yet for a replacement. lol. I'm workin on that though.I'm gonna laugh at this one day...

I love the feel and atmosphere sitting inside an e30.
Nothing beats driving around the roads in summer in an e30 and opening up the 6 pot. Hmm, love it.
