BBS Centre Caps

I am confused, is there a trick to remove centre caps.

Mine are just spinning round?

There is no trick, the outer hexagonal piece rotates about a 1/4 turn and wedges out some plastic retaining clips on the inside. When it is turned back the other way the retainers should spring back down and allow the cap to be pulled off.

Over time these clips get broken and people find other ways to secure the cap so you might have to lever it off.

Have yours ever been taken off the car by you?

Have an almost new set that I want to put on, have never taken the centres off. I will try again and see whats happening, thanks for the info, I should be able to see from the inside.
