Wiki says Castrol SAF XJ

http://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/inde ... fferential

Top tip: Make sure you can get the refill plug loose first! Seen many people drain their gearbox or diff and then being unable to refill it again!

Saf-xj doesn't exist any more, it's now castrol syntrax.

Also, neither of those existed when the e30 was made. Castrol racing b373 is about half the price of syntrax, which means you can change it twice as often :D

Can't remember exactly, something like 1.6 litres from memory. It's definitely more than one litre, and two will leave a little for future topups.

No it doesn't. As I said earlier its been replaced by castrol syntrax 75w140.

Unless castrols own website is wrong.

http://www.castrol.com/castrol/generica ... Id=7068181

"CASTROL SYNTRAX LIMITED SLIP 75W-140
(previously known as SAF XJ) "

It's been replaced, or had it's name changed. Anyone selling it as SAF XJ might just have old stock.
