On my convertible, i managed to fit a boot spoiler with no template, but it wasn't easy. Can i get one and if so where from? Thanks

There is a CD that contains fitting instructions in pdf. form for dozens of E30 accessories, including the measurements for fitting the spoiler.
Several of these pdf.s have made it to the wiki, so have a search and see if it's there.

This works for the normal heckspoiler and tech 1 if you can't find anything else, but it's just the measurements.
As always when drilling holes in your body work, use zinc primer on the bare metal and use silicone sealer to stop water ingress.

The r3vlimited link is the BMW pdf. These are the fitting instructions supplied to BMW dealers back in the day, and AFAIK, there never was a template.
