I have a fibreglass bonnet I bought from a lad that had a m3 track car, it still has the holes for 5 pins, 2 on each side and 1 on front edge near badge.
Do i need the one on the front and also are there any pins that would sit low enough for standard metal bonnet to still fit as i would like to use the fibreglass one for track days only and put some vents in it.
I have been thinking of the recessed plates that fit into the bonnet which would enable the pins to sit lower?

Maybe the aero style catches may work

A lot of e30 fibreglass bonnets will bow in the middle at high speed, so most fit an extra central pin.
cheers,
