Been working on my car doing bits and bobs since I got it almost 2 years ago, Its time for a respray now.

Lucky I have a mate who is a bodyshop painter and I have done plenty bodywork in my day so its all at cost and the paints free from a supplier to the workshop. winkeye

Obviously I want to pay my mate for this as I'm not a freeloader but can't persuade him to give me a price, any ideas what I should try to offer ?

I will post up some more pics later, its getting done on Thursday night. 8)

The plan is to remove the doors paint them off the car and get the checks done, windows are staying in but the rubber will be raised with the old wire trick, we only have the booth for 3-4 hours.
Cheers Neil

If you're stuck for a price, work out an hourly rate for what seems fair.
Then do mine :)

Just looks very bright still and shiny in places and not fully rubbed down, Really doing a full re spray once primed should be left for a while ( days ) to settle in then re look at it etc, will look pretty but chances are it won't for long ! Is this fella decent or a bit of a cowboy ? Are you using an oven etc ?

The cost 2 quarter glass rubbers for his Mk1 Mexico £40 :-x wouldn't take a penny

Had to drive it home, hence the tie wrapped on indicators well dodgy but didn't get pulled
