brake pedal bouncing back....

what could cause the brake pedal to keep bouncing back when braking, no other lights appear on the speedometer apart from one, think its for the pads....

brake pads wouldnt cause that unless you've got big bulges in the disks, more likely to be master cylinder.
try bleeding the brakes and start with a visual inspection of all the braking components looking for any obvious issues

Warped disc's or seized calipers or maybe both.

Warped discs and bulged tyres, the later i'm aware of having removed just the thing from my Transit. 
X5 V8 for thrills, CRV for chills, Range Rover P38 V8 for sooooo much aggravation...
