e30 time to start the project

in the past month my e30 has been giving me issues!

bmw e30 320i auto

as it stands there is a problem...

put the car in drive, the car will pull away reach about 10mph then the revs will pump up and not move.

i been told that in order to fix this the gear box would have to come off.

if so looks like its time to upgrade the engine and gear box

the desire is for a manual box with power and a little bit of economy.

price will be the main factor to the build but i was either looking at an e30 325 or a e36 328.

would like to see what you guys have to think and any suggestion on who to take the car to would be great.

At present you have an M20 engine, and you're thinking about either a bigger M20, or an M52 engine.
