m52 528i or 728i

I was reding driftline's post and I came up with the idea, i've always fanced owning a 7 series even if just for a year.

At the same time I would like to slot a m52 2.8 into my e30 sport, so it's far to say that danthe would be the right man for this job and again it would be fair to say who cars about the body work, make sure the car has a years MOT, was manafactured after they were lined correcttly april 98 I believe, run it for year then take the engine out and scrap the rest, not a bad plan,

Is there any difference between the 2.8 m52 engines fitted to the 328i than the 728i, is the job pretty much the same, I would imagine the tricky bit would be finding a manual 728i

any thoughts

I dont think they made the 7 with manual box mate, but you will get a sump that fits the E30 which is a big bonus, you will need to find an E36 M52 loom and mount arms, PAS pump too IIRC

i'm sold, although due to back problems it will have to be a 728i sport or a 728 with sport seats,

and mate you will be finding the parts for me at a local scrap yard lol, or better I just scan ebay every now again and stash what I need.
