Alright chaps.
Got some new bearings from meatballs ecp chap on here.
Whacked them on, but I don't remember being able to see the bearings themselves with the old assembly.
What do you think?

Yeah you definitely shouldn't have been able to see the bearings, should have a rubber seal as said, otherwise they're going to get full of dust and crap and start grinding

Be hard to prove it hasn't been done whilst fitting, inner races have a tendency to pop out as it is

did you even get a new hub nut in the kit? looks like you've used the old one with the facory paint mark showing in a different position... does the other side have dust cover?

I bought brand new bearings from from GSF, and the hub nuts were the wrong size, had to use the old one

I bought one from GSF out of desperation, it broke during fitting, never again!

Yeah so did mine, hit it with a hammer, and the inner race on the other side fell out

Now then chaps.
Whipped the brakes off and that, there is a collar in there, but it looks much smaller than the one on my old bearings.
I used the hub nut which came with them, which was indeed smaller than the old ones.
I bought ecp OE quality ones.
Here are some snaps.

100% wrong?
Spoken to Matt from ecp, sounds like they'll replace them because they've been incorrectly supplied.

Just an update. Not that anyone's interested.

ECP in Sheffield ordered me some new ones in and they're exactly the same so now won't replace them.
They've ordered some more in to double check.
