ecu conversion

i have a 073 pre facelift ecu in car can i plug in facelift 173 ,and will it work help

Don't think it will.someone should be along shortly to confirm but i think that pre facelift looms have 35pins in two rows for the ecu and facelift ones have 55 pins in three rows

Irrc , you need :

Ecu ,engine loom , crank pulley , crank sensor .

Alternatively, I can supply a chip for the early chrome bumper 073 ECU if you are seeking to improve it without going to the hassle of a conversion.
