Hi All,
Just thought I'd introduce myself as I'm new to the forum and after several E36's & E46's & my current e90 I've finally managed to acquire my first e30 for a Turbo project.I thought I would post the process in stages up until the september deadline(we're really busy So we'll have to fit it in after work).
If anyone has any suggestions or tips they would be much appreciated. I'm also on the hunt for parts obviously,we're starting off with a completely standard 1989 320i,so as I'm sure your aware the list of parts are endless!

Good choice although I would go for m50 with the insurance of a steel block.

Looking forward to reading the build thread

THanks for the feedback,
If any one would like to pop up and have a look your more than welcome!! The project is only a couple of days old so you'll have to bare with me but I'm learning quickly.
Am I right in thinking the m50 is the same as the m52 apart from the block??
I also need the ecu,gear box,prop & key chips & transponder,a custom manifold,e30 m3 diff,clio brake servo,e34 oil sump & dip stick??? Obviously turbo etc.
If any one can add anything it would be appreciated.i'll be putting up the first pic tomorrow winkeye

All the engine info, including how to swap it, is in the Wiki

No info on turbos though (yet!)
