Any ideas tips on how I can polish up my inlet/intake manifold or even how much it would cost to buy?
Thanks

Great! I will give that a try! Any ideas if polishing compound would give it a mirror like finish?

It's not a mirror finish! It bloody is! Lovely work.
Two headblenders, couple of bags of MC Hammer, 5 litres of FFF, a 48ft bastard, a box of jumped-up custard and some soggy chimps

I've sent my inlet off to be chrome plated at ashford chroming in Kent, hope they do a good job! I'm polishing the TB AFM and thermostat housing myself, dremmel, fine sandpaper and a lot of autosol does the job! takes a lot of time but well worth it when it's done

Smithy, would not mine seeing the results of your inlet when your done as am considering having mine done...how much were you quoted if its not a rude question?

Are you able to do a step by step picture guide? It'll be great for the wiki! I'm trying to get hold of a dremmel...can I use an angle grinder with a wire brush attachment?Smithy89 wrote:I've sent my inlet off to be chrome plated at ashford chroming in Kent, hope they do a good job!
