what paints have people used on their trailing arm + beam refurbs?going to do the front struts as well.
also, looking to re-paint the underside of the body at some point, but again, what products do people rate?
was looking at just a tin of hammerite but i've read mixed reviews and that there are a lot of better options.

cheers for any help

I know some people get the subframes and fuel tanks powder coated but I'm not sure how tought that is against stonechips, etc. I'll be looking at refurbing the rear end of my car in the coming months so would be interested in what people use. For the chassis and wheel arches I've bought some U-Pol Raptor. It's a tough truck bed liner but gets great reviews and I figure it will offer good protection under the car. The kit costs £75 but will have to see if it covers everywhere I want it to. Some people think it's pricey, but if you're spending a couple of grand on a good bodywork respray, what's a few hundred pounds on protecting the underside of your car?
