Very much easier to remove rocker cover/inlet from the engine and paint them on the bench, saves all that masking up and risk of overspray.

You used a file on the raised areas of the inlet?? Why not a sanding block?

Most definately. If you have the time to do it by all means do it. Saves a lot of un needed hastle and over spray, a good job can be done rocker in but ideally take it out

And sanding block if you have, file if you dont. Either way just be careful and itl show up fine

Very much this!!! Also has the benefit of you then renewing various gaskets and having the opportunity to tidy up many other bits.

You've used parcel tape as masking tape 8O  Painted over a hose clamp, breather pipe and various nuts. Doesn't loo very good and won't last very well either. No mention of any primer either, I know some VHT paints don't need a primer (although they often still recommend to use a VHT primer) but general paints always need a primer.

Sorry to say but that just looks terrible. You've painted over stuff like the nuts, bolts and clips.

As has been said, you should have removed both parts to make a nice job of it.

Why do you want it STICKIED? Its not a good guide for others.

Well when it was up last time everybody loved it. A few people were inspired to go and do theirs so it must be, also im going to be doing one on smoking lights, doing smoked MHW reps which noone has done, theres one on R3V but its polish, also carpet dying, numerous people ask...no guide.

If its not worth it il not bother but it seems some people got something out it last time and it wasnt even complete

Smoked MHW rears. That full red tints. Its totally different. You have to split the light apart from its casing and paint the inner reflectors black then tint certain parts, you know what fuck it Il not bother

You should know by now verde that your hard efforts will not only go unnoticed but also be criticised and scrutinised for even trying :D

Ah I'm sure it was a good effort mate, don't give up :).

Have to agree with you.

Let the lad do as he pleases, he's not interfering with your car so cut the lad some slack.

Now come on, be fair. When p1ss needs to be taken, it's taken with venom. However, I have always encouraged Verde from his business ideas to what he's doing to his car, rather than knocking him. It's disheartening for someone that is young but puts in the effort.

Some of his stuff has immense entertainment value, but in this instance I'd rather support than knock him.

No one's bashing the lad. Fact is he posted a guide that was blatantly wrong and he got told so, it's not as if anyone was rude or abusive about it.
