First was a 316i with a snapped cambelt, which I'm picking up on Saturday:

If it's fixable (unlikely) it'll get fixed, if not I'll take some bits off it for the red 316i and then attempt to sell some bits to try to cover the cost before I get it scrapped.

Second is a 318i convertible, with the right colour paint, the right colour leather and a power hood for flashness so couldn't resist it!

Picking it up on Sunday:

Considering it's taken me a good 8 months of being a tight git to buy the latter, I'm understandably pleased

Zay my man that convert is F'in A !!!!!!!!

But why the 4 pot wrongness? Surely with it being a cab the insurance on a 2.5 would be no worse? ish...
I really like the interior, it's bloody mint.

If it's not rude how much did they both cost?

Widge, the white one was Ԛ£80.10 and the red one Ԛ£2700.

I am still 18 unfortunately so it'll be 4-pot wrongness for the time being!

is that really an L-reg? Nice.

and are those 15" BBS perchance? Don't let Missy30 see your car...

I think that the 4-pot handles noticably better than a 6-pot on standard susp., so enjoy :D

The white one is in Basingstoke and the the cab is in Lincoln so I'll be on the road a bit this weekend.

I'll bring the cab down to Bristol for a month I think and then put it away in the garage at home until it gets sunny.

Thanks for the comments everyone; I'm looking forward to driving round for the whole of Sunday with the top down and looking like a complete prick! :)

sweet car at a great price mate! What sorta insurance are you paying? Insuring mine at 19 was hard enough and its not a red drop top!

Id keep the white one as a long termer, you could always turn it into a track car?
