i'm after quite a few bmw engine parts at the moment and not having great success with breakers. have tried today to get hold of m44 pistons and rods, or even the complete bottom end, only had one quote so far of Ԛ£650 (and another place to get back to me), which seeing as its mainly just for testing and measurements seems way OTT, was hoping to pay Ԛ£250 ish (max!). am I being unrealistic and does anyone know of some good places to try? i've tried partsgateway and find a part so far. im beginning to think i might have to live without an m44 to play with.
