this time i've done both engine mounts and had to limp it home 35 miles from southampton with the lump sittin on my brand new E36 rack :cry:

be fixed by 11th dec for the rollin road day and cost is only 14 green ones and bout an hour of cursin :x

They always go, alittle bit of oil and 15 years wear. They are quite easy to change though, just use a block and tackle or engine hoist and lift the leg of the engine and just change one side at a time. Fiddly but not too bad, you'll need a lot of extensions for the socket when doing the nearside. I've had to do them on my coup and my bros cab this year. Good job you noticed before any damage was done, the engine can move and fracture the down pipes, I hope your rack is ok.

yeah rack feels fine, well it wanna b at a cost of over 200 but the best mod i've ever done its transformed the car! 8O

I would love to do that, but honestly can't be bothered. I would do it if I had to have the engine out at some point. Mounts are Ԛ£6 at GFS, but they don't come with nuts. BE WARNED!!!!!!!!! :cry: Took me ages to find some more :roll:
