I have had advice from Fuchs that the new BMW LL04 is launched. We do not have the product mentioned below in the UK just yet but expect it on our shores very soon!

Details I have so far are as follows:

BMW Quality Longlife-04 Approval

In connection with the introduction of the new Diesel particulate filters, beginning with the series E90- and E87-engines, a new engine oil (Low Ash) is also mandatory.

For these diesel engines the existing Ԛ“Longlife-01Ԛâ€a is replaced by the new Ԛ“Longlife-04Ԛâ€a quality.

The new Ԛ“Longlife-04Ԛâ€a oil fulfils also the requirements for gasoline engines and is compatible with the existing Ԛ“Longlife-01Ԛâ€a and Ԛ“Longlife-98Ԛâ€a specification.

Ԛ“Longlife-04Ԛâ€a is also applicable in all MINI engines, except for engines demanding Ԛ“Longlife 01 FEԚâ€a.

FUCHS TITAN GT 1 SAE 5W-30 is approved according to the BMW Ԛ“Longlife-04Ԛâ€a specification.

TITAN GT 1 SAE 5W-30 can be used for engines demanding regulation BMW Ԛ“Longlife-04Ԛâ€a, Ԛ“Longlife-01Ԛâ€a and Ԛ“Longlife-98Ԛâ€a oils.

Hope this is of interest and I'll keep you posted on availability for Uk market.

Cheers, Simon
