I take it this is aimed at more modern BMW's?
Most people with decent E30's lay them up for winter.
Bit daft doing this run in Feb, be much better in Spring or Summer

Agreed, the timing could be better.
There are some older BMW's going including E30's looking at the FB page.
Its on my door step and as its not the normal static meet i may well go.
No doubt it will be a council fest but there should be some nice turds there.

It's pleasing to read things like this once in a while.. Sometimes i feel like I have to clear it with the lady just to come on this site..Morat wrote: I'll put it to the mrs later
I'll be interested in this. Although the time of years not best weather wise. It'll be good to get out for an event during the more drab part of the year...

There seems to be another Guinness book of records meet as follow:
Date: Sunday, 21 July 2013
Location: Southampton area and convoy to The German Show 2013 which is held at Beaulieu.
An attempt to beat the world record for number of E30s in a single convoy on Sunday 21st July 2013.
anybody know of this ?

lol, my E30 is now the winter wagon!
(this might explain the rust).
However, if I'm heading all the way down the M1 I think the E46 is more likely simply because it's on LPG.
Mrs was faintly amused...

I will for sure support this run and try my best to get my lil pug in good enough order for this long stretch , if not will i be able to come in my e36 ?
How many miles would we be covering there and back anybody know?
kinda looking forward to this one jumping for joy ..

[quote="jon-m42"]Kos are you going to the all time e30 meet ?
Where and when is this meet?is there a link or thread to it?
Im up for the record attempt and sort of looking forward to it and hoping theres a decent turnout. Will anyone be setting out from south london/surrey areas for the record attempt?

There seems to be some confusion here.
There seems to be two record attempts going on. A general BMW one in Feb (the topic of this thread) and another but E30 only one in the summer.
Which one is everyone talking about? Kos?
