dont these eccentric bushes move the wheel further back in the wheelarch
they were meant to go with the eccentric tops on the m3 giving more castor i think would you not be better with the e30 M3 bushes which have the hole in the middle of the bush keeping you suspension geometry correct

Thats the thing, the later E30 M3s had the eccentric bushes which pushed the wheels further to the front of the car in increase caster, but i dont know if i like the look of the wheel when its in the arch, plus it might rub on the plastic covers (ask simon13 about my Slicks).
Now these E36 ones look like they are eccentric but not as much as the E30 ones.
BTW the E36 top monts were for Caster and camber.

the e30 m3 bushes are eccentric, i.e. the hole is offset, not sure about the e36 evo ones
andy, ask on e36coupe.com
or do you want to know if they'll fit or how hard the y are to get in/out etc
edit: oops posted too late (well at the same time)

The fitting is not a problem ive done that before,
I need to know if they will fit onto the end of a E30 control arm.
I think im going to try these anyway.

no is on std suspension just wondered if the solid bushes would help had considered trying them myself but never got round to it it
never did it with 15's on maybe the offset is slightly different but the 17's seem to sit pretty much the same in the wheelarch
thanks for info on xenons andy
