My brake pad warning light comes on when I press on the brake pedal indicating my brake pads are wearing thin.

I've got some new brake pads which will be fitted tomorrow but I'm wandering is it possible to reuse the old sensor or should the sensor also be changed at this point?

It has discs up front and drums on the rear.

cheers

If the light only comes on when you press the brakes, you might just get away with reusing the old one, since the wire of the sensor loop is only exposed and not worn through, but used ones can be a bit physically fragile and not take kindly to be being removed and re fitted. Good idea to have a new one handy, even if you don't fit it.
