So I purchased convertible door cards for £20. Bargain!
All was well until I fit the drivers side, it fits fine except there is a "cut out" where the door pin comes through.
This means that there is a gap of about 2 inches long and half an inch between the window rubber and the door card.
Any ideas why?

They are both identical, if it was a factory cut out why?
Is there a difference between pre-facelift and facelift door convertible door cards?

Reads like the driver's door card is a saloon item.

That looks like it has been 'modded' to fit a 2 door saloon, council stylee

The passenger side has exactly the same section missing. to be honest does not look like a DIY cut out. Anyway, at £10 per door card I should have known it was too good to be true. Oh well, the search for a decent drivers card continues.

I replaced the original vinyl with my cardinal red vinyl. The reason was my drivers side card was completely wrecked.
Yes, I guess I could do a repair, but I think I would rather find a decent door card and cover it again or even try fabricating one out of carbon fiber sheeting?

Just need the drivers side Rav as the passenger side is fine, I know it is not worth your while splitting the pair though.
Ideally I wanted to keep the original cardinal vinyl but am now considering the idea of getting beige ones and dying them cardinal. Did you not organise this for matt86 on here?

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.
