Hi all,
Used this site:

http://bmwvin.com

to decode the VIN on my E30 and found option "S850A - additional export tank filling" listed.
Any ideas what this might be?

A pretty cool little application - I like the production date listing (3/10/83 in my case)
'83 Bronzit 323i (mmmm, chrome)
'74 Polaris 2002 (mmmm, retro)
'89 Delphin 535i (mmmm, waft waft)

S850A - additional export tank filling = enough fuel to get it on and off the ferry !
Pete don't care about colour, He would shag a rainbow if he could find the end of it....

BMW Archive site now updated and includes the full option list and production date rather than just month.
Shame it still doesnt show build factories for pre 89 cars.
I have been looking to try a find all the RHD 325 chassis numbers and had thought all 325 sports had been built in Munich, some post 90 sports where built at Regensburg too.
EG23000 onwards.
