of course, but how much would they differ ?

if you had some old e30 mirrors, you can peel the actual glass away/off of the backing plastic, they are just stuck on there, and stick new ones on ? so they would be exact the same wouldnt they on the original backing plate

I got some from Halfords. They're just the glass. As polsta said. You just stick them onto the original backing. Even for a die hard OEM'er, I'm sure you could let the wind mirrors slide..

The curved glass makes for much easier driving. The magnified mirrors that were on both my e30's when I bought them made massive blind spots..

8O is a bit council , i had a glass that was cracked, yes you cant remove the glass without breaking it, but a flat screwdriver just prise it under and turn it to lift it away from the foam/glue, and its not hard to remove, then stick a nice new glass on the plastic, and it will look brand new and attach properly, a mirror glass is a mirror glass, they are probably exactly same just the bmw 5x the cost as it is glued to a bmw bit of plastic with the attachment for the mirror
