mtec 1 or mtec 2 kit on my cab convertible

guys i have a convertible cab mtec 1. i was thinking of putting a tec 2?

If yours is a tech1 then its pre-facelift. You will need to butcher the car and the kit to get a tech 2 to fit properly.

Its covered in the wiki fitting tech 2 kit to a pre-facelift car.

It wont be cheap.

I'd leave it mate. If you want a Tech 2, sell yours and then get a Tech 2 with the kit already on it
