my brother inlaw has a 325i sport now on his head it has stamped 2.5/27
what does this mean please ??

It means he has a 2.5 head! They were all stamped with this marking.

but i have a 325i se and it only has 2.5 on my cylinder head

Hmmm, mine had the same stamping as the one your brother in law had! I thought all the 885 heads had that marking.
