3rd gear 50 - 80 time for a sport

I'm trying to figure out if my Sport is going correctly or not. I had a Sport a few years ago and it seemed quicker than my current one. Could be nostagia, but it would be nice to know one way or another. The car is a completely standard 325 sport (91) and using the timer on the OBC and the speedo (I know this will not be perfect, but ballpark is what I am looking for), I got 0 - 60 (Actually 59 as I stopped to clock before changing to third and didnt hammer the change to second either) in 6.9 Secs. In third from 50 - 80 it did it in 7.4. Could a friendly sport owner possibly try this for me and post the results? I remember my previous car used to "light up" at 4K rpm, this one is very linear all the way to the red.

the 0-60 time seems about right, not sure about the other times though

and it really comes alive at about 3 and pulls well, but mine has a mild chip in it to remove the flatspots so that could be whats helping mine

Mine does 50-70 in third in 3.6 seconds if left in fifth does it in 7.5, I don't know about 50-80 in any gear.
