What is this?

Was having a tidy up of some of my stored junk and came across this in an old box. I remember it appeared when I was stripping the interior of the car - I believe from the rear bench area. I could never work out where it was supposed to go so it never got put back. Any ideas where it goes?

its the foam at the edge of the seat base.

I pulled out my interior a few weeks back and had to make mental note of where those came out from, knowing I wouldn't have any idea later on down the line... Infact I'll probably forget again and have to dig this thread out to check..

I put my back seats in the other week and because I was still drinking when I removed them it was a Bit tricky. The mental note was ttuely gone and i finished with a couple spare parts but I think itl be fine
