One or even two of these should see you through about 2 layers, maybe able to spice up the grills on the front about £15 all in with a medium grit sandpaper like P240-ish and they'll be spanking new!

i dont understand why you would want to respray something that was never painted in the first place
in a few year or even months its going to look even worse than before.
Just buy some decent trim gel or similar that lasts months.

new OE ones are pretty expensive
my advice is to source very good used ones and then spray them satin black, will look as new.
Don't use any conditioners on trim, looks messy and oily, trim needs to be mat and with no shine.

trim gel etc doesnt cover up scrapes and in most cases looks ok for a week
i re painted some myself, i also used some u pol stuff from halfords, a plastic filler type thing, that you fill in to the chips and scores in it, rub it all back down, primer, few coats of paint, and they looked brand new and no different , although was on a black car so blended in even better, had it on there a few months and was still fine
nice brand new ones would be nice, but £200+ is a pi$$ take
