Silly question. What does an aerial on the roof mean as opposed to the nearside rear quarter. The sport I just bought has an aerial on the middle of the roof at the front but there is no aerial on the rear quarter. No signs of a hole being welded up either.

What do we think?

Thank god. I thought I had a pup in sport disguise. Not all sports come with a roof aerial though do they? But most m3's do unless I'm mistaken. Just found it odd.

What reg is yours on kieran?

Mines not even an M3/Touring aerial -

Never been any holes in the rear quarters either.

Must of been dealer fitted afterwards.

The twins look stunning parked next to each other Kieran.

Learn something new everyday. So is it safe to say all sports have the aerial on the roof? Queue Barry or Pete for confirmation.

I wouldn't say all the Sports have the aerial on the roof. I've not seen many sports with the aerial on the roof tbh.

All Aerial's were dealer fit.

M3's have them on the roof as they dont fit on the rear quarter because of the boot.

Saloons mostly have aerials on the rear quarter but its not unusual for one to have been fitted to the roof.

Kieran, shouldn't your rear lights be the earlier type?.
I carn't understand the Aerial's from the dealer in that position. Its butchery.
I guess screws are involved?.

Kieren, your sport would suit a sharks fin!.
