is there any of the more powerful engines (than a 325) that fit easily in to an e30 ? without too much extra cost involved anyway, suppose would need a different prop/rear diff too ?
e36 m3 engine for example, how much do they go fir, if at all ?

If you PM Ian332Sport he will be able to help you round the M3 conversion but it ain't cheap otherwise everyone else would have done it by now
