Greetings!

I own a very tidy E30 318i Tourer on a 'G' plate. I have owned the car for over twelve years, having purchased it with 36k on the clock. I have now covered 164K trouble free miles. The car is standard, with the exception of the front bushes having been replaced two years ago with Powerflex poly bushes.
I am intending to replace the rear suspension bushes very shortly. I would like to know what the diameter of the rear anti-roll bar is on my car. I believe there are several different diameter sizes? I need to know in order to order the correct anti-roll bar bushes.
Finally, does anybody out there have any knowledge/experience of BMW specialists 'Linwar,' in Southport? I would be grateful for your thoughts/feedback.

Many thanks!

Pete

Dunno about tourers, but on tourINGs you get either 13.5 or 14.5mm anti roll bars; probably the former since yours is a 4-pot. All info on Bushes is in the Wiki:

Borrow a tape measure from your 'er indoors and measure the circumfirance of your ARB.Divide by 3.14(remember pie from maths at school?)

Or try a selection of metric open-ended spanners to see which is the closest fit.
Youth is wasted on the young.
