A little while ago I posted up here looking for a mobile welder in Kent. I didn't get any reply so decided to take a punt and use one I found via Google. It turned out to be a good move as he turned up exactly when he was due to and did a superb job on my Cabby. I had already prepared the relevant areas, by bare metalling and cutting out the rust and making sure I had removed or at least got all carpets / soundproofing etc out of the way. I can recommend Lee ( www.weldinaction.co.uk or 07730582806) to anyone, the welding was really neat with excellent penetration, no holes blown and a very good price (Lee is actually a car guy himself which really helps) He did point out that this was because i had done the preparation correctly though - Unless you want to pay a qualified tradesman to remove carpets / paint that's up to you !). Just thought he maybe useful as there's lots of E30 owners who can do the messy stuff but can't weld !

That's good to know... I'm in Kent and will probably need some welding services in the not too distant future. How were his rates and did he provide/make up the repair sections?
