Guys I'm the very proud dude who yesterday brought an awesome car :-).

I'm chuffed to bits...

Right let's see if I can get some pics up?

What do you thinks guys...?

What's next?

Well I'm thinking of doing the following and would appreciate some ideas with regards to where to start or even new ideas too. It's all cosmetic stuff really and not sure if I really want to mess around with the performance side of things just yet?

1) thinking about getting hold of some eye brows...any body know where I could get some?

2) thinking of going for either BBS RS or RM's or even the DZ Exclusives? How ever have no idea on size of wheels, so any ideas welcome?

3) smoked head lights or even smoked lights all round? Any body know where I could get some from?

4) Coilovers? But don't know if i'l need them, suppose depends on size of wheels? Any suggestions?

Guys feel free to put up some pics for me as guide, to be honest I'm new to the E30 scene and looking forward to turning this car into a beutiful example :-)

Cheers everyone

No no on the eyebrows imo. Enjoy it.

Just seen the pics, that is very nice. Allow the 'mods' and as said refurb the alloys. Nice colour.

Very nice cab, love the colour, looks really tidy.

Smoke headlights No
Eyebrows Definitely NO
Coilovers depends on the use of the car
Wheels, the BBS's look nice, why not get them cleaned up? Failing that BBS RS' all day long.

Enjoy

looks lovely. Same colour as mine. Mine also has the brows, but I will be removing these, Genuine smoked hellas to the front, which IMO look very good. Enjoy.

Lovely car, can see why you are so pleased!

I personally wouldn't have eyebrows or smoked stuff, but then I am an OEM homo...

Good luck with it.

That's a lovely looking cab & I really like the colour.

Like the others have said before me, I wouldn't add the eyebrows though.

Enjoy driving it

Does it need a roof, hence the hardtop, and is it manual or electric?

Nice to see the interior. :D

Guys come on!! "In your opinion you wouldn't put eye brows on etc" If everyone had the same E30'S it would be a boring e30 world we live in, i say do what ever you want to do with it bud, what ever style you want to go for, just do it. However saying that, i've recently got my E30 cab and i've done the complete opposite to what you are thinking of doing, changed the blacked out kidney grill, put the standard indicators & side repeaters back on & took off the eye brows. Why? Because i love the original way a E30 looks, you however may prefer the slightly more modified look, if so fair play.

You know that time when you just type and before you know it you've just been ranting on for a bit, well that was then

Lovely looking e30, enjoy it

Your car, if you like them go for it.
gillsl500 wrote: 2) thinking of going for either BBS RS or RM's or even the DZ Exclusives? How ever have no idea on size of wheels, so any ideas welcome?
15" RM's in 8j and 9j will be about £800+ for a fully refurbed set.

15" RS's, there's a set on sale here from "CharlieOgden"
16" RS's, hope you have deep pockets, as they are about £2.5k for 4x100
DZ Exclusives, good hunting to find a set.
gillsl500 wrote: 3) smoked head lights or even smoked lights all round? Any body know where I could get some from?
Me, done loads for Zoners on here. :D
gillsl500 wrote: 4) Coilovers? But don't know if i'l need them, suppose depends on size of wheels? Any suggestions?
Be careful, as usually Gaz ones will rub on the front wheels and you'll need spacers to clear the spring seat.

Car looks Nice.

photographic evidence of the genuine BMW dealership supplied oil will be required, or you may have to empty it out again and redo the change

Looks great and your car your choice. If you want to mod it its your car your choice so totally agree with Rav. The only thing I would say is don't add things you cant change back,if or when it comes to selling good OEM cars fetch the best money.

Eyebrows are wank.

RS's are great.

Coilovers.. Unless you are buying Gaz's at minimum, don't bother.
