Hi
Does anyone have any idea where the water causing the rear bench seat to be soaked is coming from? :( The headlinings dry as is everything else I've felt ( door cards etc ) ...
Water is on passenger side rear on the base of the seat, it is also on the floor ( I assume it's dropped down )

Any advice appreciated - just seeing if it's a common thing before I properly inspect! :)

has the car been driven or just parked when this has happened?

The sadist in me would say your sunroof tray and drain pipes are rotting out for the rear seat cushion to be wet

I had this once. Water would pool up under the rear bench with no obvious way it had got there. Complete mystery.
In the course of my research I found out that the c-pillar window seal can sometimes leak allowing water into this exact area.

Never sorted it out as the car was scrapped.

The other possibility is that the so-called hockey stick trim is allowing the water somehow.

I've noticed this problem in mine, can't be the sunroof drains as I don't have a sun roof so that's a relief.

it could be the seal round the rear windows.. my first car did this! it trickles down behind the rear panel!

pretty sure this will be the C-pillar trim... three plastic grommets, crack and split and allow water to enter the cabin, run down the inside, under the rear seat and on to the floor.
