This is just a theoretical question at the moment winkeye

When you've stripped a car of all that's worth anything what do you do with the leftover bits? Do you need to pay the local scrappy to take it away and if so how much? And how complete a car does it need to be for the scrapper to take it??

Any comments appreciated - cheers

I Think it depands on the scrappy, my local will take away anything (car wise), if its a runner, he will pay you for it, if its just a pile of crap, all the good stuff gone, he will take it for free.

With China wanting so much metal to recycle at the moment, scrap metal is worth more now than it has been for 10 years.

Used to work in a recycling centre and always used to get chinese men coming in asking for our scrap metal.

So if your local scappy wont give you something ask in your local chinese! they may know someone who will give you money for it.

I really am serious by the way

As SCRAP it's worth more after you've stripped all the good parts out of it, especialy tyres and trim.
